GREEN CARNATION: Video Interview Posted Online

January 27, 2006

Kjetil Nordhus, lead singer for Norway's prog-metal masters GREEN CARNATION, recently spoke to The Associated Press (both print and digital format) about the band's latest release, "Acoustic Verses" (available on The End Records in North America).

About the band's shift from prog-rock to a much more scaled down acoustic setting, he commented, "I know that we ask a lot for our fans with every album, but I think that's how it should be. This album was a lot different, but that was our point."

The singer is also confident that the new album offers something for fans of the previous GREEN CARNATION albums. "It's the strong melodies, for some people it's the very strong lyrics as well, and it's the melancholy vibe, you know? That's still there.”

GREEN CARNATION will be kicking off their first-ever headlining tour of North America on February 24 in Buffalo, New York. Support at all dates will come from BEYOND THE EMBRACE.
